The Cass County Historical Society was organized at a meeting of the Citizens Club in Library Hall, February 12, 1907. The Jerolaman-Long home, our present location, was built for Dr. Jerolaman in 1853 by George Bevan  There is so much to see from the moment you set foot in the door. The parlor welcomes you in Victorian decor splendor. The museum houses thousands of artifacts of by-gone days. The ReVere motor company operated here from 1917-1926. Our collection includes a ReVere. We continue to add to our collections as new items are donated and cataloged for future generations to enjoy. We invite you to come for a tour; you'll be surprised at what you'll find.

Did you ever wonder what the county looked like at the turn of the century, that is, the last century? Take a look at our photos page then come to the museum to see more.

The CCHS research library/archives is located at 317 11th Street in the Downey – Anderson House, which is behind the museum. Check out our Library page.
